G.S. Sodhi

A law graduate and former GM (Vigilance) at NTPC, G.S. Sodhi (1953–2024) worked in the police department and the CBI. Through the course of his professional career, he garnered extensive experience in the field of investigation and in the conduct of disciplinary proceedings. He dealt with cases of national importance as well as cases involving techno-commercial issues. He co-authored a book on conducting disciplinary proceedings, Fundamentals of Departmental Enquiry Incorporating Judicial Decisions, with H.S. Bhattal. He also attended various international seminars in India and abroad and served as a faculty member at several institutions in India.
